I wear these over bib shorts because I'm just not satisfied with the chamy that comes in the shorts with liners. The fit is what I really like about them. They are "snug-ish" but not tight. No binding, or getting caught on the seat because of loose fabric. They stretch, so they're not restrictive despite the fit. They feel light and airy.I've only ridden with them three times. so I can't speak for the long-haul durability as of yet.Fit is about right for the medium. I wear a 34 in the waist and weigh about 175-178lbs. The waist feels a little tight even with the adjusters all the way out, but this is early in the season for me, and I'll grow into them as the weight comes off. If you're a tight 34, I'd suggest going up a large.I like them so much that I'm going to order another pair in a different color.
